Sustainable Feeding Programmes

Bee Hives and Honey

Dozens of widowed families have been provided bee hives (including bees), tool kits, honey processing units and training. This pilot project took place in Bagh, Kashmir. The honey not only provides nutrition to the farming families but is also sold at market to help with sustaining the family for the long term. Following the pilot programme's success, a second phase rollout of more hives is underway.
